A luxury hotel based in the heart of Warwickshire is set to host an exclusive evening of stand-up comedy alongside a three-course dinner – as it combines the best of the region’s arts and produce.
Billesley Manor Hotel and Spa, a historic hotel situated on the outskirts of Stratford-upon-Avon, has announced it will be hosting a Comedy Night on Friday 6th October in its Topiary Suite, providing an elegant and intimate backdrop for an evening of quality laughter and food.
The lineup for the evening includes three talented comedians:
1. Alan Francis
A household name on the UK and international comedy circuit, Alan Francis has performed on stages around the world with his brilliant observational stand-up. With appearances on numerous TV shows, Alan’s sharp wit and relatable humour led him to co-author a show that was dubbed by the Guardian as a “cult success” at the Edinburgh Festival.
2. Demitris Deech
With his intellectual and playful take on life, Demitris Deech has become popular among comedy enthusiasts. His cheeky style and unique perspective make him a favourite with audiences of all backgrounds, leading to him being selected for E4’s ‘Kings of Comedy’ show. Hailing from Cheltenham, he’s also a regular comedy panellist on BBC Gloucestershire.
3. John Newton
Known for his inventive writing and mastery of a wide spectrum of subjects, John Newton is an old-fashioned gag-teller and takes pride in it. As a regular performer at The Comedy Club, his timeless and original humour is well-loved by many in today’s comedy landscape.

Tickets for the Comedy Night, which starts at 7pm, are priced at £65 – inclusive of an evening of laughter, entertainment, and a three-course dinner by the hotel’s Executive Head Chef, Richard Dewey.
