Stratford Editorial 4th Jul, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016

PHOTOGRAPHERS In Stratford are focusing on 70 years in focus.

The Stratford Photo Group is celebrating its 70th anniversary with a special exhibition of 70 prints and projected images at the Stratford ArtsHouse from July 18 to 30.

The exhibition – open from 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and 9.30am to 1pm on Saturdays – will feature a wide variety of images from wildlife to sport.

The club, which currently has 33 members, has successfully embraced the digital age, winning the Best Small Club in The Midlands Federation for Prints and Projected Images in 2015, and picking up the award for Digital Projected Images this year.

The club, which is happy to welcome experienced and novice photographers, meets at The Bishopton Community Centre on Drayton Avenue on Tuesday evenings, to participate in workshops, competitions, and also welcomes specialist speakers.
