RAPPER turned comedian Doc Brown takes to the stage of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford.

The brother of acclaimed writer Zadie Smith, Doc is well on his way to becoming a big name in comedy. He is a regular on the London comedy circuit and has appeared in the BBC’s Russell Howard’s Good News and Rev, Channel 4’s The Inbetweeners and Derek, and ITV’s Law and Order. Doc also created, writes and appears in the BAFTA winning Four O’Clock Club on CBBC.

Along with Ricky Gervais, Doc co-wrote and performed Equality Street for Comic Relief 2013, and appeared at Wembley Arena, alongside the likes of Russell Brand and Eddie Izzard as part of Give It Up…For Comic Relief.

He brings his tongue in cheek take on hip-hop culture, complete with songs and stories, to the RST stage on Sunday November 9.

Tickets, priced £12 and £22, are available from the box office by visiting www.rsc.org.uk or calling 0844 800 1110.
