Richard Digance brings laughter and song to Kenilworth

MUSICIAN and comedian Richard Digance steps on stage at The Priory Theatre in Kenilworth on June 1.

With a foot in two camps, his close friend singer-songwriter Ralph McTell rates his close friend as a ‘great’ acoustic guitarist, while comic Ross Noble describes him as a major influence.

He has enjoyed his own ITV Saturday-night show, and a series of Saturday night specials where he has played with the likes of Queen’s Brian May, The Moody Blues and Status Quo.

He is also included in The Virgin Anthology of Songwriters for his contribution to British comedy song writing




And the comedian in him has seen him work with legendary fellow comics Steve Martin and the late Robin Williams.

Over the years he has earned awards including a BAFTA nomination as a TV entertainer, and a gold award from the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters.
