FROM The Jam flip things around when they play Leamington Assembly on November 3.

Having celebrated the Jam’s musical legacy by touring classic albums All Mod Cons, Setting Sons and Sound Affects, Bruce Foxton and co are back with a set that will feature all of the greatest hits, alongside with many of the B-sides to the original vinyl 45 releases.

The ‘As and Bs’ tour will feature favourites including In The City, Down in the Tube Station at Midnight, When You’re Young, Strange Town, Start, Going Underground, Town Called Malice, and Beat Surrender.

They will also be flipping things over for B-sides such as Carnaby Street, Tales From the Riverbank, and The Dreams of Children, which was actually a double A-side with the group’s first Number One, Going Underground.

Original Jam bassist Foxton’s new album Smash The Clock, released in May, was co-written with From The Jam band mate Russell Hastings, and featured guest appearances from Paul Weller, Wilko Johnson and Paul Jones. The album debuted in the UK Top 40 chart and was recorded at Weller’s Black Barn studios.

The Beat will be co-headlining alongside From The Jam.

The Birmingham ska outfit arrived during the Two Tone explosion in the early 80s scoring hits with Mirror In The Bathroom, Hands Off She’s Mine, and Can’t Get Used to Losing You among others.

* Northern Ireland new-wavers The Undertones also take to The Assembly stage on October 22.

The band, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, was responsible for hits including My Perfect Cousin, Here Comes The Summer, and of course, the inimitable Teenage Kicks.
