Irish songsmith Daoirí Farrell plays Leamington

Stratford Editorial 5th Apr, 2024   0

DUBLIN-BORN singer and bouzouki player Daoirí Farrell stops off at Temperance in Leamington on April 14.

A product of the Irish capital’s famous club An Góilin Traditional Singers, since launching his own solo live career at the 2016 Celtic Connections, he can boast numerous honours from BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards to ALSR Celtic Music accolades.

His fourth solo album Wedding Above In Glencree was released last year to critical acclaim.

Crafted and honed over two and a half years, it is the work of a mature artist who has succeeded in taking on the challenge of recording an acoustic album that heads deep into the heart of the songs.
