All revved up at Alcester Motor Show

Stratford Editorial 25th Jul, 2019   0

THEY were all revved up in Alcester at the weekend.

The second Alcester Motor Show proved a huge success with more than 5,000 people heading to the town centre on Sunday.

The sun put an extra shine on the 100 vintage and classic vehicles on show, from a1922 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost Tourers to AC Cobra Dax replicas and monster trucks.

Organiser Sarah Basset said: “It was absolutely packed every where you looked.

“The positive feedback we have received from the day has been overwhelming.

“The reason we do the Motor Show is to showcase Alcester as a fabulous place to visit, and to encourage people to use the many wonderful bars and cafes.

“A special thank you goes out to our sponsors Pantry Ann’s Delicatessen, Flush Heating and Plumbing, Bold Hydrographics and Cross Motor Engineering who made the event possible.”

Money raised from the event will be donated to charity Molly Olly’s Wishes and donations can still be made by visiting the Alcester Motor Show Facebook page.

The event will return next year on Sunday July 19.
