COLOURFUL fund-raisers are being urged to support Macmillan at Hatton Adventure World on Sunday April 7.
The charity is staging a Colour Run – a 5km fun run in which participants get doused in coloured paints as they make their way round the course.
All money raised will go to Macmillan Cancer Support – which supports people living with cancer with the physical, emotional and financial effects of a diagnosis.
Macmillan fund-raising manager Ellen Finn said: “On average, people are living with or beyond cancer for longer than ever before. This is a huge growing population and it means that more and more people are relying on Macmillan services to support them, well beyond the initial diagnosis”
Sign up for the colour run at regevent.co.uk. There is an entry fee to take part, and entrants are encouraged to get sponsorship via Just Giving to raise as much money as possible.
