Studley Conservative Club take top spot in Henley and District League

STUDLEY Conservative Club claimed victory against reigning champions Studley Cricket Club to replace them as the new leaders in the Henley and District League.

The Cricketers slipped to their first defeat in seven matches after being edged out 5-4 at home to their nearest title rivals in the week eight fixture.

The Cons Club now top the table with an unbeaten 14 points.

Wootton Bears moved into third place, replacing Wythall RBL after defeating the Legion side 6-3. The Bears have ten points, two more than Bears.




Village Inn recorded a 5-4 home win over Dorridge to climb off the foot of the table and leave Beausale, who lost 8-1 at home to Railway, in bottom place.
