Stratford Artshouse promises exciting season

STRATFORD Artshouse has promised a ‘diverse’ programme of events for their Autumn and Winter season.

Highlights include comedy, music, pantomime, magicians, psychics and even a burlesque and cabaret show.

The season begins on Saturday September 2 with a classical evening with local star of ‘The Voice’ Karl Loxley. The singer will perform hits from Les Miserables to The Phantom of the Opera.

Musical highlights also include The Orchestra of the Swan and a tributes to the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Whitney Houston, The Rat Pack, Barbara Streisand and Buddy Holly will also be performed.




And comedy legend Omid Djalili will once again be gracing the stage, as will Andy Parsons of Mock the Week fame and improv comedy troupe The Noise Next Door.

The diverse programme will also welcome TV medium Psychic Sally along with magician Luke Jermay.


The season also features discussions and audiences with Michael Portillo, Professor Robert Winston, Jay Rayner and poetry from Pam Ayres.

There will also be a family-favourite pantomime in the form of Jack in the Beanstalk.
