STRATFORD gymnast Isobel Ashley took gold at the Regional Novice Championships in Cannock with four amazing routines on vault, uneven bars, beam and floor.
Isobel, representing Worcestershire Gymnastics Academy, competed against a fierce field of gymnasts 52 in all but managed to rise to the top with overall gold and title of Novice Gymnastics Champion in the intermediate section.
It proved to be a very good day for the club with other gymnasts picking up rosettes for finishing in the top five places.
Isobel’s result is evidence of hard work and dedicated coaches allowing the gymnasts to perform to their optimum ability.
