A LADIES Evening has led to a cash boost for Stratford Hospital’s Eye and Cancer appeal.
Monolithos Lodge and Shakespeare Lodge of Mark Master Freemasons raised £950 for the new hospital on Arden Street.
Both groups held a Ladies Night, with the charity nominated by Principal Lady Kate Hughes who also works for South Warwickshire Foundation Trust – which runs the hospital.
She said: “We are glad to make a difference to such an important local hospital, and I felt that the appeal would be a great charity for the event as so many people will benefit from its services.”
The donation will go towards enhancements to the hospital, which is set to open this summer.
