Patients warned of congestion during roadworks outside Warwick Hospital

Stratford Editorial 28th Jun, 2017   0

PATIENTS are being warned to expect possible delays for over a week outside Warwick Hospital.

Due to maintenance, a section of Lakin Road directly in front of the hospital – between the main public car park and the zebra crossing – has been closed.

South Warwickshire Trust is liaising with Warwickshire County Council after being told the contractors are anticipating the road could be closed until July 7.

Access to all of the hospital’s car parks will remain available. The two bus stops immediately outside the hospital on Lakin Road are out of use, and temporary bus stops are now operating on Guys Cross Road.

Patients and visitors are advised congestion is likely and to allow extra time for travelling.
