STRATFORD Town Colts U18s are celebrating a season to savour in which they clinched a league and cup double.
Richard Jalowiecki’s side were crowned Coventry & Warwickshire Youth League Division A champions and also claimed League Cup glory.
The team, who are primarily all U17s, faced tough opposition against U18s but the lads were up to the challenge and produced some great results as they played superb football all season long.
For the second successive season the Colts won the cup final at Bedworth Oval before winning the league by seven points.
Manager Richard Jalowiecki said: “This is a fantastic achievement by the team, who were also narrowly beaten in the quarter-finals of the Birmingham County Cup.
“Sam Jalowiecki had a fantastic season, finding the net no less than 43 times. This made him the club’s and the league’s top goalscorer.”
