Stratford Editorial 23rd Sep, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

BUTCHER Adam Lucock will be serving up a whole lot of lamb at Stratford’s Food Festival this weekend.

The three-day festival, which begins today (Friday) and runs until Sunday evening, will see the town centre packed with over 100 stalls as well as live music and al fresco dining.

Adam, owner of Barry the Butcher, is set to teach crowds how to prepare a whole lamb into 14 cuts of meat for roasting, grilling and cooking in a casserole at midday on Saturday.

And celebrity chef Jean-Christophe Novelli will take to the stage to host culinary workshops on Sunday.

Stratford will be showcasing its own culinary talent with everything from fudge-making to gin-tasting in a range of demonstrations and workshops.

Visitors can also take part in taste and ale trails around restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs across the town.

The festival is organised in association with Geraud Markets and sponsored by Loxleys restaurant.
