World War Two hand grenades found in Alcester garden

HAND grenades from the Second World War have been found in the garden of an Alcester house.

A resident discovered two explosives in their outhouse on Saturday (August 27) at around 11am.

An explosive disposal unit removed the grenades before detonating them in a nearby field.
