SWIMMING stars from Stratford School took the plunge to success when they competed in Level 2 of the Regional School Games Swimming Gala at Shipston.

The year eight team consisting of Nadia-Jane Rogers, Kiera Kennedy, Abigail Boff and Molly Edmunds were thrilled to finish in first place in the competition and are now very excited to have the opportunity to represent South Warwickshire in Level 3 of the Games finals in Rugby in March.

The girls have put their success down to their committed approaches to training, ranging from attending training sessions five times a week to enjoying swim fit classes.

The year nine team of Hannah Lythgo, Alex Jamieson, Amberlily Boff and Lydia Brigden also produced a strong display to secure third place.

Both squads have been working extremely hard to carve out some well deserved results and the school is looking forward in anticipation to the finals in March.
