A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a crash with a car in Henley at the weekend.

Emergency services – including the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance – were called to the Birmingham Road just before 5.30pm on Saturday (May 30).

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “When emergency services arrived they found a car and a motorcycle which had been involved in a significant collision.

“The motorcyclist, a man, was in cardiac arrest and passers-by were performing CPR on him.

“Ambulance staff and the medic continued resuscitation but sadly, despite their best efforts, nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
