A NEW trustee is to be elected to the board of Stratford Town Trust.
Nomination forms have been sent to the trust’s membership and would-be candidates are asked to nominate themselves with the support of two proposers by next Friday, April 17.
Ballot papers will be sent to members during the week commencing April 27 before the result of the election is announced in May.
The register of members will be closed from May 5 to May 15 during the election period.
Stratford Town Trust is a grant-giving charity, dedicated to supporting local people and community projects. It provides funding for activities which improve the quality of life for the people living in the town.
The trust is managed by eleven trustees, all of whom must live in Stratford, be trust members themselves and usually serve a four year term from appointment.
