Stratford Christmas Fayre set to come to town

THE FESTIVE season arrives early with the first ever Stratford Christmas Fayre this coming weekend.

The fayre, at Stratford Racecourse from Friday to Sunday (October 23 to 25), will be offering gift and food ideas for the big day.

More than 100 exhibitors will be setting up stall in a marquee.

Three top chefs also offering cookery tips in the Christmas Cookery Theatre. Simon Smith, Felice Tocchini and Phil Leverington will be cooking up some festive treats and will go head-to-head in a ‘Ready, Steady, Cook!’ competition on stage.




And The Fairy Godmother of Shopping will be offering to take the stress out of Christmas by doing all the shopping in one day.

The show will also be raising money for Stratford Cancer and Eye Hospital Appeal.


Tickets are £5 in advance (£6 on the gate). The fayre is open from 10am to 5pm on the Friday and Saturday, and 10am to 4pm on the Sunday.
