Lorry driver hurt in M40 crash

A LORRY driver was injured after two HGVs crashed on the M40 near Gaydon.

The smash happened on the southbound carriageway between junctions 11 and 12 at around 10am on Thursday (February 18).

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The man driving the lorry with the front end damage, believed to be in his early 50’s, suffered hand, arm and shoulders injuries.

“He received treatment at the scene from medics including pain relief. Following treatment the man was transferred by land ambulance to Warwick Hospital for further treatment.




“No other person was injured in the crash.”
