FC WICKHAMFORD moved three points clear at the top of Stratford Alliance Division One after recording a 3-0 win at home to Alcester Town Reserves.

Louis Brown, James Schembri and Jack Steele sealed the points at Sally Close.

Henley Forest of Arden climbed into second place after two goals from Tom Byrom accounted for visitors Bretforton Old Boys 2-0.

Inkberrow Reserves, who lie four points behind the leaders with three games in hand, are far from out of the title picture after they secured a 2-1 win against Welford.

Goals from Alex Bullock and Samuel Steele gave Inkberrow the victory, with John Hensher replying.

Andrew Wigley took the day’s goalscoring honours with four goals in Blockley Sports’ 7-4 win at FISSC Reserves in the battle between the bottom two in Division Two.

Josh Keen (2) and Lea Oxley were also on target for Blockley and Richard Foreman and Zacharius Swart both scored twice for FISSC.

The second half provided a goal-fest at Tysoe United as visitors South Redditch Athletic recorded a 5-1 win.

They led by a single goal at the interval but raced away in the second 45 minutes. Benjamin Higgins (2), Michael Ashford, Dominic McElroy and Ashna Powell scored for third-placed Athletic, with Carl Rapson on target for Tysoe.
