Precious three points for New Inn Pershore

NEW Inn Pershore gained a much-needed three points in Evesham Sunday League Division One as they defeated Alderton 3-1.

The Pinvin-based team scored through Luke Frankum, Harry Wilcox and Jack Hughes.

Much-fancied Inkberrow defeated Offenham Rovers 6-1 as Keiron Sheen bagged a hat-trick and Greg Guy, Alex Bullock and Luke Allcock scored. Reagan Martin replied for Rovers.

A strong second half saw Evesham WMC complete a 6-1 victory over Alderman United in which Elliott Grady netted a hat-trick and Sam Ford (2) and James Schembri scored for the Workies.




Mickleton Rangers earned their first win of the season with a 4-0 success at TDMS Harvington through goals from Jason Beasley (2), Toby Wheeler and Rob Singer.

Fladbury maintained their perfect start in Division Two as goals from Will Green and Lukasz Kutko proved enough to defeat Bear 2-0.


Harvington Harriers recorded a 4-0 win at Broadway United as goals from Charlie Smith, Rhys Warner, Christian Lewis and Nathan Lewis did the damage.

Ashton 88 earned their first points with a 5-2 victory over TDMS Evesham in which Gary Dyke (2), Kiran Kelly, Matt Magee and Josh Keen scored for Ashton and Harrison Middleton and Tom Dixon replied for TDMS.

A Bill Hemming double helped Drakes Broughton Rangers overcome Stratford HGC 2-1, whilst Broadway Athletic won 2-0 at Stour Excelsior.

In Division Three, Vale United got off the mark with a resounding 8-1 win at Tewkesbury Athletic as Paul Law (3), Chris Ainsworth (2), Kieren White (2) and Louis Hughes scored for the Badsey side.

Bidford Juniors won a tight game at Dragons 2-1 with goals from Thomas Hinks and Connor Griffiths. Scott Sinden was on target for Dragons.

Fortis won the local derby with Titans 5-2 as Ben Herborn (2), Jamie Simcox, Ryan Dixon and Jordan Hemming scored for the visitors and Steven Vizor and Richard Herczku netted for Titans.

Asum Athletic maintained their perfect start with a narrow 3-2 win at Bengeworth as Adam Beasley and Olaf Pufka scored for the home team but Athletic prevailed through Alex Lane, Callum Marshall and Rhys Giles.

Bredon and Stour Excelsior Reserves drew 1-1 as Matt Tarling scored for Bredon and Sam Sharpe did likewise for Stour.
