STRATFORD Town have confirmed the date of their Birmingham Senior Cup semi-final against Solihull Moors.
The tie at the DCS Stadium will be played on Tuesday, April 5 and the winners will meet holders Birmingham City in the showcase final.
Solihull, flying high at the top of National North, were knocked out of the cup at the second round stage after losing 2-1 at Redditch United, only to be reinstated when it was learned the Reds had fielded an ineligible player.
By a neat coincidence, that player was Rob Thompson-Brown, who had played in the competition for Stratford.
Stratford, who have beaten Coventry City and Walsall in their county cup progress so far, last reached the final in 1963 when they beat AP Lockheed of Leamington.
The cup fixture means Town’s scheduled home league game against Dorchester Town has been switched to Tuesday, April 19 (7.45pm).
