FORMULA E driver James Calado finished in 11th place in round three of the ABB Formula E Race at Home Challenge – in support of UNICEF – on Saturday.
Cropthorne’s Calado is now in 13th place in the championship after three rounds of the online racing series. Pascal Wehrlein from Mahindra Racing won the latest main race from the Formula E grid.
The ABB Formula E Race at Home Challenge features two separate grids running in parallel – one comprised of drivers from the ABB FIA Formula E Championship and the challenge grid filled by some of the fastest gamers and influencers.
The online events use a Race Royale format specific to gaming, in which the last-placed driver at the end of each lap is eliminated.
Calado will feature in round four of the series on Saturday, live on Eurosport 2 from 4.20pm.
