TRIBUTES have been paid to a father-of-two who died after a crash with a car near Henley.
Robert Loach was riding along the A3400 Stratford Road in Wootton Wawen around 8.45pm on Monday (April 25) when he was involved in a collision with a car.
Emergency services tried to save the 27-year-old, who was in cardiac arrest, but he was confirmed dead at the scene.
Mr Loach grew up in Redditch where he lived all his life and worked for local company S E Davis but his main interest was his family, partner, Lian, and two children aged one and three.
Paying tribute, Lian said: “Robert was the world’s most doting father, a loving and wonderful son and brother to seven cherished siblings.
“He was also a good friend to anyone that got to know him. He was my rock, my soulmate, the love of my life and I love him more than I could possibly say.”
Robert’s mother, Sam, added: “Robert was my first born son, a truly wonderful, inspirational person and most loving son.”
Craig Glenn Allen, of no fixed address, was charged with causing death by dangerous driving and went before magistrates on Wednesday (April 27).
The 35-year-old was remanded in custody until May 26 when he will appear at Warwick Crown Court.
Officers would still like to hear from anyone who saw either of the vehicles – a silver Ford Focus and a orange Kawasaki motorbike – before the crash.
