POLICE are hunting burglars suspected of a string of break-ins in the district.

Three men forced their way into a property on Congreve Close in Stratford on Monday night (January 20) around 9pm. They assaulted a person after being confronted in the property before they fled empty handed towards Barrie Close.

A sledge hammer was used in broad daylight to break into a property on the same street the following day at around 10am. The thieves are thought to have made off in a silver Saab.

And sometime between Sunday and Tuesday, a home in Scott Close in Bidford was broken into and ransacked. A bottle of alcohol was taken.

Police are urging anyone with information, or who has witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area, to call them on 101.
