STRATFORD mayor Tony Jackson sharpened up his ping pong skills at the weekend.
Coun Jackson popped down to the Bancroft Gardens to play PING – outdoor table tennis. His fellow councillor Kevin Taylor has championed the sport setting up a number of tables in the town.
“PING is a fantastic initiative and huge credit must go to Coun Taylor for his efforts in delivering a number of tables across the town,” said Coun Jackson.
“Exercise and well being is one of my chosen good causes and PING brilliantly fits this criteria and has my full support. Table tennis is easy to play and the tables are making access to low intensity exercise easy and accessible to people of all ages.
