A FUND-RAISER has braved the shave to support Cancer Research UK.
Sarah Dunsby, who works for estate agent Hamptons International in Stratford, raised £640 when she had her head shaved.
It was part of an initiative by her company which will see all of its 150 employees take on a fund-raising challenge to support Cancer Research UK.
Sarah said: “I am thrilled I have managed to raise £640 as it’s a charity that is extremely close to many of our hearts – I am sure we have all lost someone to this illness or known someone affected.
“It was slightly nerve wracking shaving my hair off – I chose to do it because I can’t bake or run – but it felt brilliant to do so for such a worthy cause.”
