BUSINESSES in Stratford are being asked for views on the district council’s budget.
An invitation has been sent out to local businesses to attend a virtual meeting, on Monday January 18, via Microsoft Teams.
The meeting will be chaired by the district council’s leader, Coun Tony Jefferson. Members of the Cabinet and other councillors will also be in attendance.
It will include a presentation of the council’s spending plans for the coming year and discussion on any matter relevant to the district council’s services.
The council says circumstances surrounding its finances are particularly difficult this year, given the severe impact of the covid-19 pandemic on local businesses, residents and the council itself.
