Stratford Butterfly Farm to reopen

Stratford Editorial 27th Jun, 2020   0

STRATFORD Butterfly Farm is set to reopen.

During lockdown a team of workers have been looking after the butterflies, birds, fish, plants, and other animals as well as maintaining the tropical conditions in which they live.

But from Saturday (July 4) the farm will be reopening to the public, with extra health and safety measures in place.

There will be screens in front of the till, hand sanitiser stations, social distancing reminders and markers, a one-way entrance and exit, contactless payments encouraged and extra cleaning.

And to celebrate the reopening a Maya-themed display has been created.

The farm will be open only to ticket holders on July 4 and.5, and will have daily capacity limits to ensure social distancing is maintained.

Marketing manager Jane Kendrick said: “We’re delighted to re-open and reveal all the changes we’ve made to improve the Farm including our new look reception and Maya display. Since lockdown we’ve had so many lovely messages of support from our customers and we can’t wait to welcome them back.”

Visit www.butterflyfarm.co.uk or phone 01789 299288 to find out more or pre-book tickets.
