Ian Hughes 13th Sep, 2019

A CHARITY coffee and cake morning is being hosted by Stratford Butterfly Farm in memory of an employee who passed away from cancer.

Pat Hudson worked for over ten years in the gift shop and was a much valued and loved member of staff.

The Swan’s Nest Lane attraction will be raising money in her memory for The Shakespeare Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support on Monday September 30, starting at 10am.

Farm marketing manager Jane Kendrick said: “We were absolutely heartbroken to have lost Pat who was such a popular member of the team.

“We hope we can raise as much money as possible in her memory and donate to the hospice who cared for her so well. Please do come along and enjoy some delicious cake and refreshments and if you can donate a cake at the same time, we would very much appreciate it.

“Any cakes donated can be dropped off at the farm over the weekend or on the morning.”
