Spate of thefts sweep Alcester

SHOPLIFTERS are operating in Alcester warn police.

There were five thefts in the town with shops in Kinwarton Road targeted four times – the first on Sunday August 18 and then on Tuesday and the following two days. A shop in Evesham Street was also targeted on Thursday (August 22).

Police are keen to speak to a man in his mid 20s to early 30s, with a ginger beard, dressed all in green with a green beanie hat and black trainers with white markings.

A silver car with the a registration number ending in ‘EAA’ was seen at two of the Kinwarton Road incidents.
