Spate of Royal Mail post box thefts across Warwickshire

Stratford Editorial 18th Nov, 2020   0

ROYAL Mail post boxes are being stolen from across Warwickshire.

Five small metal post boxes were ripped from walls and from posts across the county last weekend. They included three in the early hours of Friday when post boxes in Station Road, Bishops Itchington, Chadshunt in Stratford, and a third from from Fosse Crescent in Princethorpe were taken.

Overnight between Saturday and Sunday (November 14 and 155) the Brook Lane post box in Moreton Morrell was removed from the post it was sat on, and stolen.

And sometime between Friday 13 and the following Tuesday, an attempt was made to take the post box on Fosse Way, Radford Semele. Instead the front of the box was ripped off and the contents stolen.
