FIRE crews were called to an accident after a spare wheel smashed the windscreen of the car behind.
The wheel fell from a horse box from a horse box on the A429 in Barford on Saturday.
One person in the car was cut out by firefighters but was not seriously hurt.
The service has warnined drivers to always ensure spare wheels are secure before setting off.
