PHOTOGRAPHERS in Leamington are online only this year.

In what is believed to be a first among West Midlands camera clubs, Leamington Spa Photographic Society is currently holding its 2020 Annual Exhibition online due to the pandemic.

Entries to the competition would normally be exhibited at All Saints’ Parish Church in Leamington but more than 100 photographs in ten classes can now be viewed at www.lsps.org.uk

Prior to the exhibition judging was also carried out online by Peter Gennard who provided a written critique for all entrants.

Society chairman, Tim Evans said: “We realised that putting on physical exhibitions was unlikely to happen for the remainder of this year and we hope to reach an even wider audience by going on-line. We plan to add probably two further exhibitions between now and year end and we see this as the way forward at the moment.”
