Sky's the limit for Anna's charity efforts

THE SKY really was the limit for a vertigo sufferer determined to make her 60th year memorable in more ways than one.

Rather than organising a big party to celebrate her milestone birthday, Anna Kingsley has spent the last 12 months completing 60 challenges.

And the latest – a skydive alongside her 16-year-old son Alexander and friend Pete Emerson – was easily the biggest one yet.

Anna, of Newbold-on-Stour, was inspired by the memory of her son Theo, who died unexpectedly the day before her birthday in 2008.

She has previously fund-raised for a number of causes including the British Heart Foundation and Welcombe Hills School where Theo was a pupil.

The proceeds from the skydive – just over £700 – will go towards boxes of musical equipment for Heart of England Mencap’s Pathway group.
