SANTAS will take to the streets of Stratford to raise money for the Shakespeare Hospice next week.

Entries are now open for the annual Santa Run where people can run or walk around the 5k course on Saturday November 9, from 9.30am.

Santas will follow a picturesque route, starting at Stratford Recreation Ground. They will cross the footbridge and run along Waterside, following the Avon, past the RSC theatres and Holy Trinity Church, then they will make their way back to the Rec via Lucy’s Mill Bridge.

Tickets are £15 (£10 for under 12s).




All adults receive a free Santa suit and hat and children can come in fancy dress.

* A TABLE top sale is being held to raise money for the Shakespeare Hospice.

The Stratford Friends of the Hospice will hold the event on Saturday November 11 between 1pm and 5pm.

The sale will take place at the Rosebird Community Centre, with all money going to the charity.

Entry costs £1 including a hot drink and cake
