PEOPLE in Snitterfield are being given the chance to have a say in how their village develops over the coming years.
Snitterfield Parish Council has submitted an application for the designation of a ‘neighbourhood area’ – the first step in securing its own Neighbourhood Plan.
The plans are a key component of the Government’s Localism Act, which aims to devolve greater powers to councils and communities.
And Stratford District Council is inviting people to comment on the proposals before it decides on the application.
If it is given the green light, residents, businesses and councillors will be encouraged to get involved creating the plan on how they would like the area to develop.
A copy of the application and a map can be viewed at www.stratford.gov.uk/nplan or at the council offices in Stratford.
Email [email protected] before Friday March 3 to make comments on the plans.
