REMINISCING residents are sharing their memories.
The Me Project, put together by Stratford Literary Festival, took place over three months and saw older residents, sharing important moments in their lives with sixth formers, from Stratford School, KES and Alcester Grammar, who who wrote them down.
Copies of the completed memoirs, which included photographs from personal albums, will be held by Warwickshire Libraries as part of Stratford School, KES and Alcester Grammar.an archive available to everyone.
The project was supported by Unique Senior Care and funded by a grant from Orbit Living.
“We have been delighted by the outcome,” said Orbit partnership manager Cheryl Flavell. “The memoirs contain some important reminiscences and show that everyone’s life is important and worth recording.”
