QUACKY racers will be taking to the River Alne this Bank Holiday.
Henley Fayre & Duck Race, organised by the parishioners of St John’s Church in Henley, is set to make a splash on Monday August 30.
The free fayre will take place from noon to 4pm, in and around the Church Hall in Beaudesert Lane featuring a barbecue and Pimms tent, along with numerous stalls selling everything from clothes and toys to jewellery and home made cakes.
The highlight of the afternoon will be the duck race, at 2.30pm, which promises to be bigger and better this year, with over £100 worth of prizes to be won.
All proceeds raised will go to church funds.
