John, who has delivered the Stratford Observer for more than ten years, has just completed a 5km charity run.
His secret to staying fit is partly down to his regular delivery route which takes him all around the Shottery.
The former town councillor has lived in the town for more than 30 years and used to teach at Stratford High School.
He completed his recent charity run at Cheltenham Racecourse to help raise money for the Children’s Society.
His final fund-raising total has yet to be confirmed, but John is hoping to reach around £800.
