NOMINATIONS are wanted for the district’s best buildings.
Stratford District Council’s Building Control is looking for contenders for the Stratford District Building Excellence Awards 2017. The awards ceremony will take place next in April, but the deadline for nominations is December 2.
The awards recognise projects from their design through to health and safety, compliance with relevant legislation and customer satisfaction.
The awards look to honour the very best projects which have achieved construction standards beyond what would normally be expected and have been truly ‘built with excellence’.
The awards cover different categories of building and types of work, such as domestic extensions, commercial/public buildings, works to a listed building, new housing through to multi million pound commercial developments.
Nominations can be made by architects, owners, builders where building work has been inspected, approved and completed by the council’s building control team.
