NADHIM Zahawi has been promoted to education secretary in Boris Johnson’s sweeping cabinet reshuffle today.
The Stratford MP, who replaces Gavin Williamson, was vaccines minister and won many plaudits overseeing the UK’s successful Covid vaccine rollout.
Mr Zahawi returns to the Department for Education where he was children’s minister for 17 months from January 2018 to July 2019.
