A MOTORCYCLIST was left lying in the middle of the road after a crash near Barford.
The crash on the A429 Wellesbourne Lane happened at around 6pm on Thursday (April 27).
Eyewitnesses say an unmarked police car with its blue lights on was overtaking a Mini, and a motorcyclist driving behind hit the back of it.
A witness to the crash said: “We heard a huge bang and then saw a man lying in the middle of the road.
“We went to check on him and luckily he was alright and soon got up.
“The driver of the car was badly shaken.
“I think the police car had to carry on because they were going to a job, but another car soon arrived at the scene.
“Luckily there appeared to be no serious injuries.”
