Men charged in connection with Southam petrol station burglary

OFFICERS investigating a burglary at Tesco Petrol Station in Southam at around 11.50pm on Tuesday (October 1) have charged five men.

Chance Gill, 20, from Cleeve Prior, 19-year-old Lee Morgan from Cheltenham, Morgan Spiers, 20, of no fixed address, Leamington Spa, a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old both from Cheltenham have all been charged with burglary, two charges of possessing a knife in a public place, and two charges of handling stolen goods.

Morgan Spiers, Lee Morgan and the 15-year-old were also charged with possession of a controlled Class B drug believed to be cannabis.

All five suspects have been remanded in custody to appear before Coventry Magistrates today (Thursday October 3).
