Man who died in Southam motorbike crash named

POLICE have named the man who died after crashing his motorbike near Southam.

Geoff Thomas of Prestwood in Buckinghamshire had been riding his grey Honda motorbike along the A423 Banbury Road when he crashed into a hedge.

The 61-year-old died at the scene of the crash, which happened at around 7pm on Sunday (August 7) between Southam and Ladbroke.

Warwickshire Police are now looking to find the driver of a blue and white tractor who had been in the area at the time and may have information about the circumstances leading up to the incident.
