All looking fine in the home and garden

Stratford Editorial 23rd Jul, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016

THOUSANDS braved the showers to enjoy this year’s Stratford Home and Garden show.

The sun may not have been shining on the Recreation Ground, but three days of shopping, refreshments and workshops brightened up the weekend for many.

People looking for home, craft and garden ideas had the chance to look around 200 exhibitors from all over the country and get advice from experts in different fields.

And there may have been some recognisable faces in the local craft tent – filled with people from across the district selling their wares.

For those who bought too much to carry, some handy barrow boys and girls were on hand to help wheel the goods back to the car.

The show is now in its third year, with organisers Steve Brooks and Stephanie Lester saying 2016 was bigger and better than ever.
