Pilot has 'lucky escape' after aircraft crashes in Compton Verney field

A LIGHT aircraft crashed in a field at Compton Verney.

Emergency services were called to a field just off the Fosseway at around 2.30pm on Sunday (February 4) and found a light aircraft had come down and flipped over.

Firefighters say the pilot was uninjured and had a ‘lucky escape’.
