A PACKING business in Stratford had a surprise – when they received a £30,000 shipment of raspberries and found a number of illegal immigrants hiding in the lorry.
The company – which has not been named – had to send the fruit back to the sender to be destroyed for fear of contamination.
The unknown number of immigrants had to be taken by police.
